The majority of this was made with Ulead COOL-3D 3.5. The candle was found on the web, and the flame I also made with COOL-3D.

The fine-tuning and perfecting was done with GA 5. Adding the candle, the flame, the hand, the shadow border, plus some cutting and pasting of coffin parts to make it easier to do.

The hand I cropped, reduced, and touched up from a gif found on the web.

The hardest part was making the coffin in COOL-3D - I haven't had a lot of chance to play around with complex 3-D compositions. But trial and error pays off in the end!
