This was fun to do!

I took a still picture of Marvin and used the lasso tool to trace around his arm. Then I cut and pasted to make a new object (the arm). I duplicated it twice, and used the Transform tool to rotate each duplicate 10 degrees - one clockwise, one counterclockwise. I erased the pole he was holding and replaced it with the sword.

I made him blink by making a couple black oval eyelids. The teeth are borrowed from you-know-where... The horns and the sword I made with Ulead COOL 3D. The head he's bouncing? Well, you have to visit this link for a biased version of the events...
